BUT-001 WWII Canadian Navy Canada and Anchor Brass Uniform Buttons W Scully Ltd
These
are in excellent condition considering their age. They show minimal
wear, back marks are all clearly readable. I'm not sure of their exact
age but they came in a lot with a Civil War to WWII buttons. From what
I've researched these seem to be closer to WWII era, particularly
1920's. The back mark is "W Scully Ltd Montreal." Lot inludes 7 buttons
total.

wear, shows significant patina smallest button is squished, back marks
are all clearly readable. I'm not sure of their exact age but they came
in a lot with a Civil War to WWII buttons. From what I've researched
these seem to be closer to WWII era. The back mark is "E. Stillwell
& Sons London" Lot inludes 8 buttons total, 5 large, 2 small, 1
smaller.

BUT-003 1859-1902 USA General Service Brass Military Uniform Button Horstmann Bros & Co
These
are in excellent condition considering their age. They show a
significant patina and a bit of minor red discoloration on a couple
buttons, they do show some wear but back marks are all clearly
readable. One expert identified these as dating 1859-1863 around civil
war, another identified these as identified these as dating between
1875-1902 Indian/Spanish wars based on their back mark. I'm not sure
myself but from I've researched online I would say probably more
1875-1902. The back mark is "Horstmann Bros & Co. Phila" and the
shield on the eagle is prominently raised. There are two sizes included
in this lot and I believe it is a complete uniform set but I could be
wrong. There is a total of 15 buttons.
