The
Song of the Heron.
Hark the heron, hear its voice.
Water marshes. Watch the sway.
Sweet the scentings of the lake
Your talent marks the path the courteous
take.
In details, much of life is often missed.
You lead to understanding as you teach.
Physician, Father, Friend and loving
Son.
(Elizabethan Sonnet, 14 lines, 10 syllables per line, Iambic Pentameter.) The caring of others is there in your
hand
Throughout the tilling of the soil,
St. Patrick said "Lad, it's your Birthday
"Please Don't Feed the Doctor" or "It Needs Salt" I worry 'bout a Doctor
If I worked inside an asylum
