As I Wandering
through the Forests of the Mysts one Warm
Summer's Eve, I lost my way in these dark
Mysterious Woods. As evening fell and the
creatures of the night began to stir I felt a
presence close at hand.
I turned about and there before my astonished eyes was a most gorgeous apparition, an Elven Princess. I met her eyes and was mesmerized. Though behind her stood a fearsome beast I did not feel any fear. A moment passed, perhaps a few, I just stared. Her voice rang out, such a sweet chorus. "Tis cold and dark and my woods are not safe at night. Come, warm yourself by my fire. I shall guide you out at dawn" I followed her back to her fire. The beast was laid to rest close by, yet I feared him not. We spent the night in pleasant conversation, she was a delight to be near. Morning arrived, I fear all too soon. I thanked her for her hospitality. As I rose to leave I caught her eye as she said, "These woods are not easy to find, yet I feel that you will have no trouble. You are welcome by my fire anytime. Peace and safe journey" And thus our story begins, for I returned to those sacred woods again and again. Life seemed timeless there, as if the outside world did not exist. And our love soon grew and took hold of our very souls. But though this great love hath touched our souls, our lives are worlds apart. Perhaps it is not meant for Elf and Mortal to find happiness in each others arms, who is to say? But only time will tell where this shall lead, And for now there is peace and contentment, and I shall not question the reason. And whosoever reads this shall know that a Mortal has fallen in love with an Elven Princess. And all is well............ And thus our story begins.....

Return to Eryn Lothluin Once upon a time there lived a beautiful Elven Princess deep in the Enchanted Forest of Eryn Lothluin. Her tranquil abode deep within a meadow of blue flowers calls to me, for one fateful day I chanced to stumble into this sacred place. And there I met this wondrous being, so beautiful and full of love, and spent the day with her. We talked and laughed, even flirted from time to time, and before I knew it dawn was here and it was time to leave this magical place. As I said farewell we gazed into each others eyes... And I knew then that I would soon return, for like any true Faerie Tale we fell in love that day, though we did not even know each other yet. Today I mount my horse and ride like the wind, back to that place of Enchantment, where my heart was lost. The longing I feel within my breast yearns to be satiated. I knew not where that Magical Forest lay so I rode for days, following my heart. On the eve of the forth day the Mysts came. A strange eyrie glow as they engulfed me. Then through the Mysts I heard singing. My heart stopped... I would recognize that voice anywhere... It was my Princess. I dismounted and walked towards her, not sure where this would lead. She turned and saw me, reaching for her Mystical sword Aislynn. I froze, but then she laid her weapon aside and smiled. She leapt up and ran to my waiting arms. Our embrace lasted
for what seemed like hours, her lips where so
soft and inviting. I felt whole again, I was
home, my Elven Princess was in my arms. I swept
her off her feet and carried her into her
Cottage. The fire that I remember so well was
lit, the candles all around a soft glow.
She looked into my eyes and I saw a tear glistening... She whispered softly as I held her there... "I knew you would return, my love. "A lump formed in my throat as I laid her upon the fur rug by the fire. We shared that wine as we had once before and then we spent the night in loving embrace. Two lonely creatures who had found a home... We spent many days alone here in this Magical Place and now our hearts are joined as one. And soon, when the flowers bloom in May, and Beltaine is upon us, I shall take my Princess out into my World for a time, and there for all to see, I shall bind my love to hers, so she may know that I am truly hers. Though only time will tell where our love shall lead us, for now we are content. And though we truly are Worlds apart, yet true love can overcome many obstacles that life hath put in our way. The joy of holding her within my arms is enough reward and for that joy I would challenge any obstacle and make her mine. To Tania-Galia, my Elven Princess, with all my love Sir Zorgon |
