Gorean Role Playing
Crimson Talendar slave levels: Slaves that enter the Crimson Talendar with some experience or are already owned by someone will be accepted as long as they follow Gorean protocol. They are expected to greet visitors and serve. The council will not tolerate visiting slaves that arrive unowned and appear to be fishing to be picked up and taken to the furs. For slaves new to Gor, the council offers slaves the opportunity to serve on one of five levels, or until such time as slaves are collared by a Freeperson of their choice. The council will review a slave's experience and desire to determine which level a slave should begin serving under. These levels are not progressive, nor is any slave expected to strive for a particular level. Each serves where they and the council feel that they are most capable of doing. Understand that no one may force a slave to take a collar, have net-sex, or even talk in private messages. All unowned slaves are to be protected by the council and any Free citizen of Baren_Touhk. 1. Ubar's Garden helper - This is for the newest slave arrivals that wish to have the protection of the council as they learn the ways of Gor. Garden helpers are to tend the gardens, arrange flowers, and greet visitors as they watch and learn about serving. They should spend time reading and practicing in the slave gathering with other slaves and learning about various gorean drinks and foods. They do not serve sexually and wear a light repcloth tunic. We fiercely protect helpers and frown on anyone that scares them. No one is allowed to ask them to serve, nor to ask them to go to private rooms, nor to dance. No one should even ask them to talk in public or privately unless they offer. All must let them learn and begin serving as they feel comfortable. Helpers can not be asked to do anything except enter and exit properly, and address Free persons correctly "if" they greet. 2. Whitesilk slave - This is for any slave that wishes to remain untouched and virginal. To earn this right slaves have to be blameless and pleasing in their manner. They will perfect their service in the tavern learning to serve all in tower position (thighs closed). This slave will not consent to any sexual service or would lose the whitesilk status given by the council. Any Freeperson can request that their collared slaves be allowed to serve as a whitesilk slave. In this case a whitesilk would only serve their owner sexually, no one else. No honorable Gorean would even ask a garden helper or a whitesilk for sexual services. 3. Blacksilk slave - This is an untrained slave that desires to learn to serve. This slave is the housekeeper of Crimson Talendar. He or she cooks, cleans, carries messages, decorates, does laundry, and cares for animals. This slave wears blacksilks with no adornments unless given by their own owner. He or she is not required or expected to serve sexually for the tavern, but may do so consentually within the rules of the council. The blacksilk slave will be busy studying the Gorean traditions and how to serve various foods. He or she will watch as more experienced slaves serve and learn to study their graceful movements. They should be polite to all who enter and may begin trying to serve to the best of their abilities if no yellowsilk or redsilk slave is present. Blacksilk slaves should take special care to welcome new slaves and make them feel welcome. 4. Yellowsilk slave - Once blacksilk slaves have learned some basic serves they can be promoted to a yellowsilk slaves. These slaves are the waitstaff for the tavern. They wear yellowsilks with no adornments. If their service improves they may be given various items of adornment for rewards. Their duties include greeting, serving and tidying up the place if no other slaves are present. The tavern expects these slaves to help new slaves. They are not expected to serve sexually, but may if they so choose as long as the Freeperson is a honorable citizen. He or she is to work at making their serves more graceful. A yellowsilk slave may be asked to perform dances or warm the lap of a citizen. 5. Redsilk slave - Over time a yellowsilk slave that has dutifully learned to serve, dance and learned more of Gorean traditions may be promoted to the status of redsilk slave, if the tavern deems them worthy. This also will depend on the slave's wishes. No slave will be promoted until they are sure that they are ready to meet the expectations. A redsilk slave will be expected to help train less experienced slaves. Duties include cooking, cleaning, serving, singing, reciting, playing an instrument and dancing if asked. They will greet and converse with all visitors in a pleasing manner. They may warm laps in the tavern as well as be taken to the furs by Free citizens if the slave consents. They are to spend their time learning how to be more pleasing in sensual ways. They will set a good example for other slaves, and help all visitors understand more about Gorean ways. They are, in effect, our ambassadors.
