"Square Crater"
GRID J-3b
"As I was searching through the numerous anomalies that you've amassed
my attention was drawn towards an area on the Cap-1 photo in the top right
region. This area appears to may be possibly comprised of 45 degree angles
and is in between (and just to the lower left) of an area you've marked
out with a sphere and a bit lower, a crane..."

"Square Crater"
"I find it interesting that there would be any square shaped craters
on the moon in the first place. All my attempts at trying to reveal any
detail of this square area were met with failure (perhaps someone with
better expertise can present their findings). Perhaps this particular area
was 'air-brushed' out, I really don't know. But it's around the square
that as I was filtering seem to reveal perhaps some objects/anomalies that
didn't seem to belong..."

Anomalies in Copernicus Crater
More Vapors and Mists

GRID C-5
The Venting Pipe has been listed before, but the square area with the
dome in the center was not seen until a recent glance by John
Lear, A Member of ATS, on the large print. |

The Village
GRID F-2 to G-3

The overall general impression of this area on the left is that
of a landscaped town. Upon closer inspection there are a few strange anomalies
in the area, marked below. But what stands out the most is the bright white
mist in the lower right corner. If ever there was a case for some atmosphere
on the moon, this would be it. Look especially closely at the "tufts" or
"puffs" above the lower ridge line and the higher one to the right. |

Still More Vapors

"Vapor Column"
GRID N-3c
Taking a second look at the area around "Peek-a-boo" there is a bright
column of rising vapor. Below you see bright white "mist" flowing around
the rocks. Comparing other bright rock areas with this and other examples
of "mist" you can clearly see the difference between the rock and the wispy
mist |

The Active Mining Operation

"Active Mining Operation"
Looking at the above image, again the feel isn't right for natural
rock. Upon closer inspection many enigma's present themselves. First is
the smooth flat ridge, then you see two large "caves" or "openings" with
a flat bottom just along the ridge line. As we are looking at this image
from the front the "caves" cannot be craters as we are looking at a rock
wall. In the colorized image below we have highlighted the vapor and the
"spray" on the hill below. Notice the concentrated "stream" at the ridge
line that fans out in a curved arc. Between the vapor and the spray on
the ridge you can just barely make out rectangular shapes in the original
image labeled "structure". On the right is the "pipes and arch" that we
have shown before. A couple more blocky anomalies are below that, but they
remain unknown and are included because of their odd appearance. |
