#1 Fuel Farm Target - Live Impact Area

DESCRIPTION: The Live Impact Area is contained in a 2000’ diameter cleared area. It consists of thirteen scoreable target sections, Ammo Dump, Fuel Farm, Sam Site East, Bunkers, Helo Pad, Revetments A-C, Bunker Convoy, Southeast Convoy, and Sam Launchers 6-8. These targets are composed of various types of vehicle hulks surrounded by earthen revetments. The interconnecting roads are bordered by approximately 2-3’ earthen berms. See target configuration next page. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: Live MK-82 MK-83 or MK-84 general-purpose bombs, MK-20 with Inert Mk-118 (Rockeye) submunitions, 2.75” and 5” Rockets. Live GBU 12/16 deliveries allowed only on the 317 Run in Line and are restricted to C2X and JTFEX Navy TACAIR Training only. FUZING: Fuzing nomenclature should be faxed with mission data. Delay fuzing is unauthorized due to extreme degradation (cratering) of target area. RUN IN LINE: 317° or 137° ±10 degrees. A 180 degrees magnetic run-in/attack heading is authorized for Live MK-82, MK-83, MK-84 and GBU-12 during C2X and JTFEX. COMMUNICATIONS: Pinecastle Targets 225.35 MHz, SEALORD 289.2 MHz. RESTRICTIONS: No INERT ordnance allowed. 72 hour advance notice required. No incendiary ordnance, gun ammunition or Parachute flares. Delay fuzing is prohibited. No releases are authorized without positive target identification and positive clearance from Pinecastle Control. Explosive bombs authorized on this target include a maximum 2000-pound general-purpose bomb or its cumulative explosive equivalent (i.e., a simultaneous release of four 500-pound or two 1,000-pound bombs) on an approved basis. No simultaneous release of Mk- 84. Use caution concerning the spotting towers due south and south west of the target area. Live Ordnance delivery is allowed between 0900 and one hour prior to sunset. LASERS: Lasing is authorized however, aircraft heading is restricted to 122° clockwise to 185°, and 302° clockwise to 005° Magnetic North.

DESCRIPTION: Laser Evaluator System (LES) is a target board designated for aerial use only. The board consists of a laser detector which, when lased, transmits a pulsed tone on frequency (313.725 MHz). The Laser board is located at 29° 06’ 49.44” N, 81° 42’ 36.47” W, Elevation 122 Ft. at Ground level. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: None. Lasers only. RUN-IN-LINES: 317° ±15° COMMUNICATIONS: Pinecastle Targets 225.35 MHz, SEALORD 289.2 MHz RESTRICTIONS: No Ordnance is authorized. Only authorized fielded Laser systems may be utilized. Contact Pinecastle Control for verification of Laser usage. LASER DESIGNATION: Laser spot and designate for FLIR and laser bore sighting.

DESCRIPTION: The Day/Night Conventional target is a scoreable target consisting of a single surplus military vehicle located at target center. One ring of tires, circle the target center at 50’ radii. The target is equipped with an integral target illumination and lighted run-in-line system for night ordnance training. Target Center is located at 29° 07’ 08.716” N, 81° 43’ 02.454” W, Elevation 110.70 ft. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: BDU-33/MK-76, BDU-48/MK-106, INERT filled BDU-45/50, INERT filled MK-80 series and INERT filled GBU-10/12/16. INERT filled warhead rockets up to five (5) inches in diameter, and Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR). RUN-IN-LINES: 317° or 137° ±10° COMMUNICATIONS: Impact Targets 225.35 MHz, SEALORD 289.2 MHz. Target center is located at 29° 06’ 55.453” N, 81° 43’ 29.759” W, Elevation 149.52 Ft. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: Practice BDU-33/MK-76, BDU-48/MK-106, INERT filled BDU-45/50, and INERT filled MK-80 series. INERT filled warhead rockets up to five (5) inches in diameter, and Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR). DESCRIPTION: Sam Site West is a simulated surface-to-air missile site. It is a non-scoreable target with a 1,600-foot diameter circular service road encompassing a simulated radar and surrounding missile launcher pads and interconnecting cable paths. Target center is located at 29° 07’ 04.214” N, 81° 43’ 29.300” W, Elevation 114.91 Ft. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: Practice BDU-33/MK-76, BDU-48/MK-106, INERT filled BDU-45/50, and INERT filled MK-80 series. DESCRIPTION: Urban Complex Target (Former Special Weapons -Main Bull) is a scoreable target that consists of an array of conex boxes to form targets. One main battle tank occupies the target center. The target is clear of vegetation out to 400 FT from the target center and two outer rings (1,200 FT and 1,600 FT diameter) form a bulls-eye. Target center is located at 29° 07’ 26” N, 81° 43’ 10” W, Elevation 122.23 Ft. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: BDU-33/MK-76, BDU-48/MK-106, INERT filled BDU-45/50, INERT filled MK-80 series and INERT filled GBU-10/12/16. INERT warhead rockets up to five (5) inches in diameter, and Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR). DESCRIPTION: The New Strafe Target consists of two target groups, Low Angle Strafe (LAS) and High Angle Strafe (HAS). Each target group consists of nine painted barrels each, 3-Red, 3-white, and 3-blue placed behind a protective berm. Approx. center of target: 81? 43’ 45.275” W, 29? 07’ 0.973” N. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: Target Practice (TP) Gun Ammunition up to 30mm. RUN-IN-LINES/Altitudes: RIL 038 Degrees Low Angle Strafe: 0? - 15? dive, 536’ and below at the foul line. High Angle Strafe: 15? - 30? dive, 536’ -1,154’ at the foul line. Helicopter door gunners may shoot from over old strafe target, LAS-217’ and below, HAS-217’ – 485’. Only a right-hand pattern may be used. WARNING: Exceeding the firing angles/altitudes could cause damage to plotting sensors behind berms. COMMUNICATIONS: Pinecastle Targets 225.35 MHz, SEALORD 289.2 MHz RESTRICTIONS: High Explosive (HE) or High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) projectiles are NOT authorized. #13 Impact Strafe Target

DESCRIPTION: The Strafe Target consists of an orange/red square banner suspended on the face of an earthen berm. The target is equipped with an automatic scoring device that provides scoring information using a recorded message on the target control frequency of 225.35 MHz. Spotting Tower 2-2 is located at 90 feet elevation. It is situated abeam the foul line, 600 feet right of the run in heading and 1200 feet short of the banner. Target center is located at 29° 06’ 53.468” N, 81° 43’ 50.915” W, Elevation 146.38 Ft. AUTHORIZED ORDNANCE: Target Practice (TP) Gun Ammunition up to 30mm. RUN-IN-LINES: 038° heading only. Only a right-hand pattern may be used. COMMUNICATIONS: Pinecastle Targets 225.35 MHz, SEALORD 289.2 MHz RESTRICTIONS: High Explosive (HE) or High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) projectiles are NOT authorized.
