1. Where Lives My Rime. Begun on 3/3/88. If it is read as if to you, the reader, it takes on new meanings. Poetry is not on the page, but in the mind of they who attempt the reading. Tribute.

2. I Wait. Begun on 11/6/89, "I Wait" is one of many written in a "alternative personnae" reality of two Italians; Augustina and Marcello. Naninnia Fiora d'Lucca helped with Italian background and style information for the series. Nothing compares to his heart's loneliness. Forlorn.

3. Hall of Mirrors. Begun on 2/7/90. One thought of his beloved gives birth to all thoughts being about her. Romantic.

4. Restoration. Begun on 1/1/89. A man lets a river recall his love to his heart. Romantic.

5. Home. Begun on 1/1/89. This poem tries to set a simple scene. Tribute.

6. Finally Begun. Begun on 5/14/90. Commissioned by Gulijanna. Love long waited for is no less worthwhile. Romantic.

9. The Diary Of Eros. Begun on 5/1/88. This sonnet alternates between 10 and 11 syllable lines. Is humble work in hand worth what the angels MAY be recording? Romantic.

11. To the Lady of the Dance. Begun on 3/1/88. The sonnet form is hidden by a more noticeable 2nd rime/rhythm scheme. Such happiness out of such chance. Romantic.

13. I Don't Know Why I Sleep. Begun on 1/1/88. She is more than could be imagined or hoped for. Sets a scene.

18. Love's Counting. Begun on 11/5/89. Uncountable attributes enumerated. Romantic.

19. Mosaic. Begun on 1/1/88. A combining of poem-ideas and drafts. Read straight, it makes one kind of sense. If just the indented line of each stanza and couplet is read, it makes other sense. Tribute.

27. Nazir. Begun on 5/6/89. Suggested by Mark Ryan's description of his character from the BBC Television production of Robin Hood. Sets a scene.

28. On Death. Begun on 10/1/87. Meant to be acted out. Even Death must pay a price for His takings. Dramatic.

29. Another's Name. Begun on 6/1/88. Hope springs eternal, and is each time painful. Sets a scene, Forlorn.

30. Bitter-Warm Morning. Begun on 3/1/89. A warrior on campaign stands in front of his pavilion at dawn. He has been with a woman that night, and is in love. Dramatic.

31-38. Odin & Thor Part I-XIII. Begun on 1/1/88. This series of 13 sonnets (the first 8 are in this folio) are in tribute to the Reign of Dak & Lao. They are told by Nhe Gwan-Gho, a court appointed bard sent by the Kahn to take over Lao's storytelling duties while she was on the throne. The poems are in a strange poetic form to this Chinese fable-weaver, but he does his best with an odd language, an odd story form, and an odd people. Dramatic

43. Praise Of One For Another. Begun on 6/1/88. "You're so lucky, your Lord is a bard and can write you songs...My Lord is just a fighter"...a response. Sets a scene.

44. Victory Well Given. Begun on 7/1/87. A good fight can impress even those who are killed. Sets a scene, Tribute.

48. In The Blackness Of Night. Begun on 11/17/89. Each line has 43 letters and spaces and has a over-rime/rhythm that masques the sonnet form. Love lives best under moonlight. A very structured, mathematical sonnet, Tribute.

50. Nature Must Wait. Begun on 10/4/89. Augustina to Marcello. What attribute should be enjoyed first? Romantic, Sensual.

51. Wild Hearts. Begun on 7/15/89. Allure beyond mortal bounds. Tribute.

52. Arias. Begun on 9/29/89. Wake ye the forest with joy. Tribute, Mathematical. The original version (see appendix c) reflects more of a Nordic Scald form. Individual sentences speak of image instead of description, and soft consonants replace the usual hard sounds heard in English Scaldic poetry. This fits what I believe the Norse would have used if they had spoken English.
