15 Unto A Lady You wear a summer breeze like a fragrance The Dew on Roses shines when you do smile All attributes possessed gives remembrance To nature and its power to beguile. Sun filled days do warm like your embraces. Cool twilight calms the senses like your tone. The night, with its falling starlit traces Curves with beauty the form which is your own. Winter twilight, the dawns of midsummer A midnight in the spring and fall's noonday, The blessings of this earth and its wonder Are yours, are in your soul and in your ways. These words are few and hardly fills the need Of what my heart's attempted with this deed. |
