Rear Admiral Pat Moneymaker, USN Rear Admiral Pat Moneymaker is a native of San Francisco, Calif., where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of San Francisco. After reporting for flight training in Pensacola, Fla., he earned his wings of gold in August 1971.

Completing initial training in the A-7 Corsair II, Rear Admiral Moneymaker joined VA-56 then conducting combat operations in the Gulf of Tonkin from USS Midway (CV 41). He flew 91 combat missions before hostilities ceased in February 1973. In June of that year Rear Admiral Moneymaker and his family moved to Yokosuka, Japan as part of the Navy's first aircraft carrier overseas homeporting program.

In 1975, Rear Admiral Moneymaker was ordered to flight instructor duty in VA-122 where he taught weapon delivery tactics and carrier landing qualification. At the completion of this tour, he returned to USS Midway as the airwing landing signal officer (LSO) making continual deployments to the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean.

Rear Admiral Moneymaker again returned to flight instructor duty in 1979 as officer in charge of the VA-122 Weapons Detachment in Fallon, Nev.

In 1982, Rear Admiral Moneymaker reported to VA-147, making two West Pacific deployments amassing a career total of over 3,000 flight hours in the A-7. VFA-195 was transitioning from the A-7 to the F/A-18 when Rear Admiral Moneymaker reported as executive officer in May 1985. He graduated from Navy Flight Weapons School (TOPGUN) in February 1986 and in October he assumed command of the Dambusters, leading the squadron to Japan once again flying from the deck of USS Midway. In 1987, VFA-195 was selected as recipient of the Estocin Award, marking the Dambusters as the best Strikefighter Squadron in the Navy.

Blue AngelFollowing this command, Read Admiral Moneymaker was chosen to command the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. He led the team through the 1989 and 1990 seasons. Rear Admiral Moneymaker was then ordered to CVW-14 as the Airwing Commander. During his tour the airwing flew the flight decks of USS Independence (CV62) and USS Midway. Subsequently, he served as director, Command and Control Warfare Division (N64) on the OPNAV staff. Rear Admiral Moneymaker served as director for command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems (J-6) for United States Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., prior to assuming command of Naval Space Command in February 1997.

In the course of his career, Rear Admiral Moneymaker has accumulated over 6,000 flight hours and 1,000 carrier landings. He has been awarded the Legion of Merit (with one gold star), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (with one gold star), the Strikeflight Air Medal (with seven subsequent awards), the Navy Commendation Medal (with Combat “V”), the Presidential Unit Citation, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and various campaign medals.

Rear Admiral Moneymaker is married to the former Carol Doyle of Sacramento, Calif. They have five children: Kimberly, Mathew, Sara, Rebecca, and Jonathan.

Patrick D. Moneymaker, 61, has served as a director of Kforce since July 2008. Since July 2008, he has served as President and CEO of Proxy Aviation Systems. He served as the CEO of Kforce Government Holdings, Inc. ('KGH'), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kforce Inc., from September 2006 to July 2008, and also served as a director of Kforce from June 2005 to September 2006. Prior to his role as CEO of KGH, Mr. Moneymaker served as the CEO, Operating Officer and President of Ocean Systems Engineering Corporation ('OSEC'), a privately held company based in Carlsbad, California from October 1998 until OSEC's sale in May 2006. From 1968-1998, Mr. Moneymaker was an officer in the United States Navy, ultimately achieving the rank of Rear Admiral. Prior to rising to the rank of Rear Admiral, he served as Navy Director of Space and Information Warfare and served at U.S. Strategic Command and as commander at the Naval Space Command.

(Nasdaq:KFRC), a provider of professional staffing services and solutions, today announced Patrick Moneymaker, United States Navy Rear Admiral (Ret), has resigned as CEO of Kforce Government Holdings Inc., and has been elected to serve on the Kforce Board of Directors as a Class III Director with a term to expire at the Firm's Annual Meeting in 2009. Pat leaves Kforce to become President and CEO of Proxy Aviation Systems. Founded in December of 2004, Proxy Aviation is a privately funded company developing advanced Unmanned/man-optional Aircraft Systems for the requirements of the Department of Defense of Homeland Security and other agencies.

Prior to assuming his role as CEO of Kforce Government Holdings Inc., Mr. Moneymaker served as CEO of Ocean Systems Engineering Corp (OSEC), a privately held company based in Carlsbad, CA prior to OSEC's sale in May, 2006. OSEC provided a full spectrum of engineering services for the Dept of Defense that includes software development, C4I systems integration and program management. From 1968-1998, Mr. Moneymaker was an officer in the United States Navy, ultimately achieving the rank of Rear Admiral. His service included the premier assignment as leader of the elite Blue Angels flying team. Mr. Moneymaker served on Kforce's board of directors from June, 2005, until September 30, 2006, when he resigned to become CEO of Kforce Government Holdings Inc.
