 The Progress Report Menu provides you with the links to places along your questing path that are safe to return to. Think of it like a Save/Game menu feature. Once your path leads you outside the area associated with a Progress Report, a new Progress Report will be added to the old report. However, areas that should only be accessed as a result of a quest chain that you have not finished, will remain unavailable until you have successfully completed them. Should you leave the game, for whatever reason, you will most likely have to start from the beginning upon returning, unless you bookmark your most recent Progress Report before leaving.
Alternatively, if you wish to just return to the main page of the site, the home icon  will always be available on the right hand side of the screen.
