SAYS: "HOUSTON WE BLEW IT UP!!!" ..
The Deep Impact Mission to Comet Temple 1 was to drop a bomb (impactor) onto the surface of the comet. What happened was a small explosion, followed by a second one that was bright enough to see from Earth. The 'scientists' had no idew WHY the esplosions were so bright or why there was a second bigger one... but they jumped up and cheered like school kids. Nice going "scientists" you managed to blow up something again in the name of 'research" I do wonder just what it was they hit LINK HERE |
